INEXPENSIVE, FLEXIBLE & COMPREHENSIVE

The SFDC package gives companies a cutting edge but inexpensive opportunity to collect production and attendance times directly on the shop floor. Job cards with bar codes, which are then read by inexpensive bar code readers or light pens on the shop floor.

Manual entries of data is also permitted.

Our approach is to keep the cost as low as possible by using older PC's with bar code readers to collect the data. Typically a computer with a Pentium 100 or even a 486 chip would be adequate.

These PC's are programmed so they cannot be tampered with, do not need to link directly into the main network (hence no need for expensive extra Windows NT licences) and still operate if the main computer system is down.

The RM6 costing system is then updated automatically at a frequency set by the customer.
